Faculty And Staff

Ron Stansell is the director of the program and teaches three of the courses. He and his wife, Carolyn, were missionaries in Bolivia for 18 years. Ron has a doctorate in missiology and has taught missions, world religions, and Bible courses at George Fox University for 22 years. He has taught at Bolivian Evangelical University on four different occasions during his missionary career and three times since then as a visiting professor.

Carolyn Stansell is the director of student life and experiential learning. She has served as a staff member in Student Financial Services at George Fox University and during her years in Bolivia taught, traveled, and did organizational financial management.

Other faculty includes professors from the Bolivian Evangelical University and the broader Santa Cruz academic community. They serve as professors of Spanish, consultants, and guest lecturers in history, religion, and customs and cultures.
