Admissions

Once each year in April.

Early application is encouraged since class size is limited.

Full-time faculty appointment or five years of professional experience
Bachelor’s and master’s degrees from regionally accredited college or university (minimum GPA of 3.0)
GMAT or GRE results (GMAT preferred) within the past 10 years
Evidence of completion of undergraduate or graduate level courses in accounting, economics and finance
A sample of academic writing from prior course work which demonstrates the applicant’s ability to gather, synthesize, organize and evaluate research OR completion of an essay assigned by the DBA admissions committee
A personal statement describing the applicant’s vision for his or her future as a result of competing this degree (not to exceed three pages)
A formal interview with the doctoral admissions committee
Non-native English speakers must submit a TOEFL of 550 or higher (90 or higher for internet-based)

Completed and signed application form
$100 nonrefundable application fee
Resumé (you may send a hard copy or send it electronically to business@georgefox.edu)
An official transcript from each college or university attended (request forms included, or you may call the institution to request your transcripts)
GMAT or GRE results (GMAT preferred) within the past 10 years
A sample of academic writing completed during prior graduate course work or an assigned essay
Applicant's mission statement (you may send a hard copy or send it electronically to business@georgefox.edu); not to exceed three pages

When your application is complete, the admissions committee will review your application file. Selected applicants are invited to interview.
