Ryan Halley has been part of George Fox University’s School of Business since 2009. Before coming to George Fox, Ryan was a faculty member at Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio, for four years. He also has worked as a financial consultant, as a graduate research assistant at Texas Tech University and as a state auditor for the State of Ohio. Ryan earned a doctorate in personal financial planning from Texas Tech, an MBA from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He holds the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) designation from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education.
Ryan lives in Newberg, OR. He is married to Jess and has two children, Megan and Brennan. In the professional arena, his love is for teaching and developing relationships with college students. Ryan’s passions include sports (watching and playing), running, fishing, hiking, camping, and some good R&R with family. .
