Students spend spring break serving others

Spring Serve tripMore than 60 students and employees from George Fox University spent their weeklong spring break helping others in three states during the university’s 18th annual Spring Serve.

During the week of March 21-28, students traveled to Yakima, Seattle, and Neah Bay in Washington, as well as Los Angeles and Utah to work on service projects in diverse cross-cultural settings.

Participating students were selected through an application process. They paid a portion of the costs of their trips, the rest of which is subsidized by the student government. Each of the trips had a faculty, staff or alumni leader, assisted by two undergraduate student leaders.
