Friends Leadership Award

The Friends Leadership Award is designed to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and participation within a Yearly Meeting church. 
Recipients receive:
- $2,500 renewable each year (a total of $10,000 per student over four years)
- Access to leadership opportunities, participation in Quaker seminars, and mentoring relationships with faculty and staff
- Additional financial aid based on academic merit, financial need, and church-university matching programs (see below)
Students interested in applying for the Friends Leadership Award must apply for admission to George Fox University by December 1st (postmark) and more information about the Friends Leadership Award will be sent to students. Students who have completed their application by December 1 and are admitted will be invited to an interview on campus in February. Friends Student Award:
Any student with financial need (as determined by the FAFSA) from a Friends or Evangelical Church of North America church with a high school GPA of 3.0 or a combined SAT (reading and math) score above 1000 may receive a grant of $1,400.
