Nationally Competitive Scholarships

Highly competitive national scholarships are available for outstanding students in all fields, particularly those considering graduate studies.

Applying for such scholarships is a lengthy and involved process. Students should plan ahead and start the process early on. (Two months before the deadline is not unreasonable.) Furthermore, many scholarships require campus nominations and thus earlier on-campus deadlines may also apply.

But long before that point, when already a freshman or sophomore, you should be preparing yourself:
